One on One Consulting: If you are looking for advice on your current work out regimen, athletic development plans, or for people who need nutritional and weight management guidance, we offer one on one consulting.
Personal training: Our one on one personal training service is organized into a three tier system. The tiers are designed to cater to clients with different skill levels/experience. To give you some perspective on our classification system, the majority of the clients we encounter usually start out in tier 1 and tend to progress on to tiers 2 or 3 over time.
When you begin with one of our trainers you will be prescribed a flexible program that is individually tailored towards your goals. Our programs are flexible such that various changes can be expected along the way based on your individual progress. In order to ensure that progress is made, all goals will be quantitatively measured over time. This allows the trainer to adjust the program and lets you know how much you have achieved within a specific time frame.
Initially, you will meet with a personal trainer who conducts a consultation. The initial consultation is performed so that the trainer and client can together evaluate and formulate a plan in order to achieve the goals set forth. The consultation is essentially a question and answer session in which the trainer asks for relevant information to determine your needs. It also provides a chance for you to freely ask questions. After the consultation, the next step is to perform strength and flexibility/ROM tests to determine if there are any muscle imbalances or weaknesses. Then, our trainer will design a program based on the their assessment of your body as well as on any specific concerns that were brought up during the initial consultation. This process can be as interactive as you want it to be.
Program design and start up training: We also provide a program design package which includes an initial consultation, a program tailored to your needs and two to three personal training sessions to get you started. This package was created for people comfortable in a gym setting, who may already be members at a health club or local gym, and are currently on a fitness program that is no longer showing results. We can design a fresh program, followed by a few training sessions to familiarize the client on the exercises, proper form and rhythm of the routine. The client then goes off on there own for a couple of weeks.
Biosignature Modulation: Developed by Charles Poliquin, this is a system where body fat storage sites are identified and correlated to hormonal imbalances. It is a non-invasive way to identify a clients hormonal profile and prescribe the right lifestyle changes, training programs and supplements that would work to correct any imbalance. The biosignature process involves taking twelve different body fat readings that are correlated to the following hormones: Testosterone, Estrogen, Cortisol, Insulin, Thyroid, Growth Hormone and Carbohydrate Tolerance. With this information you are able to achieve greater results in less time.
PIMST (Poliquin Instant Muscle Techniques): This is a system in which various techniques are used to strengthen the athlete or client instantly, that is between sets. If you are able to lift more weight from set to set or perform more reps then in the end you will achieve your goals faster. The techniques involved include improving Joint range of motion, Improving Neural drive, Acupuncture/Acupressure Meridian Balance, Fascial release and Improving postural alignment. These are great tools to use especially before a competition.
